Meet the Kokesh Plumbing Team
Chief Happiness Officer
Senior Office Receptionist
Born and raised in the heart of Ballwin, a fourth generation plumber Joe Kokesh basically grew up with a wrench in his hand. Growing up, Joe spent his summers and after school at “The Shop” helping his big brother JR and his Dad Lawrence whenever he could. Joe started working for Kokesh Plumbing officially in Spring of 1993, Running the Office.
Joe earned his Journeyman Plumbing License in 2005 and on the completion of his Master Plumber’s License in 2015 took over the business from his Dad Lawrence Kokesh. Joe married our wonderful Chaos Coordinator, Megan, in 2014 and they are the proud parents of Jackson and Charlotte Kokesh. In his free time, Joe loves being outside with his kids, telling not so hilarious DAD Jokes, and being the griller extraordinaire.
Joe came and gave me a price lower than all my other bids. The job was completed in the time I was told it would take and done correctly. No complaints and I would definitely use them again! – Laurie K
I accidentally drilled into a water pipe in my bathroom and had water leaking down to the basement. In extreme panic, I called JJ Kokesh and got through to Lindsay on the emergency line since it was after hours, and she helped get a hold of someone to come out to my house within an hour. The person that showed up was the owner, Joe, who was calm and reassuring and had the issue fixed in under an hour. The cost for this service was very reasonable. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and will be using them for any plumbing needs in the future. -Andy S.
This company has been my plumber for years. They are always polite and prompt, always super helpful. It is great to have a plumber that I can rely on and does exceptional work!! I can not recommend Joe, Megan, and their team enough!!! -Valerie B.

In November 2020, we had a leak in our front yard. Since Kokesh has been our go to plumber, I called them. Megan quickly determined that our problem was with the water service line to our house and emailed me the paperwork to contact the St. Louis County Water Service Line Repair. Part of our water bill is a fee that goes to this program. We were able to get the repair completed at no cost to us thanks to Megan pointing us in the right direction. Kokesh was out this week taking care of our water heater not working. Thanks for your great service -Kerry K
JR, Joe Kokesh’s big brother, first started working for Kokesh Plumbing in the 70’s with his Dad, Lawrence Kokesh as an apprentice then graduating to a Journeyman Plumber. When JR decided to move back home in 2016, Kokesh Plumbing excitedly welcomed him back! Can’t say enough good things about Kokesh. I had “JR” who fixed my hot water heater when others said it needed to be replaced. He did a great job and I will use them in the future for all my plumbing needs. -Robert K.
JR was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He listened to and fully addressed our concerns. He explained what needed to be done and performed the tasks in a timely manner. We were very pleased with him! (and therefore Kokesh!) We were also grateful for Lindsey in the office. We were frustrated when we telephoned. She listened, empathized with us and scheduled our services in a timely manner. We really appreciate that Kokesh employees people like JR and Lindsey!! -Jeanne P.
