100 Neediest

Kokesh Plumbing is proud again to be working with The United Way’s 100 Neediest Program to help spread a little cheer to two deserving families this year!

We are collecting at our shop: 408 Kehrs Mill Rd, Ballwin, Mo 63011 or you can give your donation to the plumber at your service call.

These are the families that we have adopted and how you can help us create a wonderful holiday season for them!

Our first adoptive family this year….

Ms. K and her granddaughter.

Ms. K is a 79-year-old disabled woman who takes care of her also disabled 20-year-old granddaughter, who cannot walk. This small family is in great need this holiday season and any help is sure to make a huge difference in their lives. They are requesting this year:

  • Queen size sheet & comforter set
  • Grocery store gift cards – food is one of their greatest needs
  • Winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves
  • Clothing and Shoes
  • New blue shoes for church
  • Ms. K needs comfy clothing with zipper shirts or jackets due to issues with her arm and difficulty pulling things over her head.
  • The granddaughter needs comfy clothing that is easy to pull up and down since she is learning to walk again and depends heavily on a wheelchair.
  • Pots and pans – hopefully ones with blue handles
  • Gift cards: For household items and personal care items
  • Ipad or laptop

Our second family this year…

A single mother and her 2 children.

Ms. F is facing personal health issues that have led to her losing her two jobs she was previously working. She is trying her best to survive with her two young children but needs our support to bring any magic to the holidays this year for her little ones. They are requesting this year:

  • A kitchen table
  • Clothing for Ms. F, age 33 – needs comfy clothing/leggings/sweats/ lounge wear
  • Clothing for Son, age 10 – needs jeans, joggers, t-shirts, undergarments, socks
  • Clothing for Daughter, age 6- needs jeans, t-shirts, undergarments, socks, jogging suits
  • Christmas gifts for both kids, especially- books (the daughter loves to read), coloring books, markers, puzzles, and board games
  • Gift cards for food and personal items
  • Toiletries
  • Twin sized comforter set & sheets
  • Winter Coats, hats, gloves, scarves

Holiday Drive 2022

Happy Holidays!

JJ Kokesh & Son is proud to be once again working with United Way’s 100 Neediest Cases this year by heloing local St. Louisans to make their Christmas a little brighter!  This year we are adopting a senior and a family to provide them with extra support and cheer this holiday season. We are extremely lucky that each year we receive help from our employees, suppliers, and customers to help!

If you are interested in helping us this year, we will be accepting donations between now and Monday
December 19th , 2022, you can either drop by our office location: 408 Kehrs Mill Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011 or
if you are having a service done, give it to your plumber.

Our first adoptee is a senior, Mr. H who is currently in remission from Lung Cancer. He is homeless because his home has been condemned due to water damage from this summers’ flooding since it is unsafe for him to live in. He has been living with a relative while waiting to save money for repairs to his home. If you would like to help brighten his holiday season, here are some of the things that he is looking for:

  • Clothing- Men’s xl
  • Shoes- 12 Men’s
  • Assistance with rent
  • Assistance with Spire bills
  • Gift cards to buy household items, groceries, and food

Our second adoptee is Ms. B. a grandmother who has recently taken in her 2 granddaughters (7 &12) while their mother battles a drug addiction. The added cost of paying for childcare and transportation has really led to her struggling to keep up with her bills. While do her best to care for the children, she is struggling with food, household items, clothing, utilities, mortgage, childcare expenses, medical bills and she was also one of the victims of the flood last summer that caused her to lose many things in her home. If you would like to help us help Ms. B she is looking for the following:

  • Clothing for her and the 2 granddaughters:
  • Ms. B- Women’s 1x, Shoe size- 10 Women’s
  • Granddaughter 12- Children’s size 12, Shoe size 3 Children’s
  • Granddaughter 7- Children’s 6t, Shoe size 13 Children’s
  • Help with mortgage/utility bills/medical bills
  • Gift cards for food/groceries
  • Toys- educational games, toys and books
