Joe Kokesh
President/Master Plumber
Born and raised in the heart of Ballwin, a fourth generation plumber Joe Kokesh basically grew up with a wrench in his hand. Growing up, Joe spent his summers and after school at “The Shop” helping his big brother JR and his Dad Lawrence whenever he could. Joe started working for Kokesh Plumbing officially in Spring of 1993, Running the Office.
Joe earned his Journeyman Plumbing License in 2005 and on the completion of his Master Plumber’s License in 2015 took over the business from his Dad Lawrence Kokesh. Joe married our wonderful Chaos Coordinator, Megan, in 2014 and they are the proud parents of Jackson and Charlotte Kokesh. In his free time, Joe loves being outside with his kids, telling not so hilarious DAD Jokes, and being the griller extraordinaire.
Megan Kokesh
Chaos Coordinator
A world traveler and Saint Louis native, our Chaos Coordinator Megan is the heart and soul of our company. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Social Work, Megan has been with Kokesh Plumbing since January of 2014. She along with Joe makes sure that everything runs smoothly and that our customers are taken care of.
Married to Joe since 2014, they have 2 children, Jackson and Charlotte and our fantastic Chief Happiness Officer- Rosie. Megan’s hobbies include gardening, a plethora of outdoor activities, listening to music, hanging out with animals and spending time with family and friends.

Since joining us in 2012, and now as a Foreman, Mike has become an amazing resource for our crew, always ready to lend a hand, share his extensive knowledge, or offer a ready joke or encouragement. His mastery of plumbing codes and his consistent ability to deliver exceptional work have made him a customer favorite.
Chris B.

The longest tenured (non-Kokesh) member of Kokesh Plumbing, Chris has been with us since 1987. Starting at our parts counter, then going to school through the union while apprenticing, to becoming a Journeyman Plumber, Chris has become a most valued asset to the company. Married to his HighSchool SweetHeart, Sandra, he is the father of 2 daughters and a doting grandfather. In his spare time, Chris is an avid hunter, golfer and bowler.

Amber B.
Plumbing Apprentice
We’re thrilled to welcome Amber, our very first woman plumbing apprentice, to the team! Amber grew up in South County and brings a great attitude and a love of learning to the job. What she enjoys most about plumbing is that every day is different — there’s always something new to figure out! When she’s not learning the ropes on the job, Amber enjoys relaxing with a good movie — Harry Potter is her all-time favorite — and challenging herself with word searches and puzzles. ]We’re so excited to have Amber on board and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes!
Corey
4th Year Apprentice
Corey comes from a long line of plumbers and pipefitters, and he’s just as excited as we are for him to officially join the Union and continue the tradition as a Journeyman. Plumbing isn’t just a job for Corey—it’s his passion! When he’s not working, Corey focuses on health and fitness and loves spending quality time with his family. He’s also a big fan of Doberman Pinschers and has a serious sweet spot for Twix bars. We’re proud to have Corey on the team and can’t wait to see all that he accomplishes!
David G.
Shop Guy Extraordinaire
Our resident jack of all trades, David started with Kokesh Plumbing in late 2024. Born in Germany as a Military brat, David grew up an hour south of Saint Louis. After witnessing 9/11, David decided to serve his county with the Marines, serving admirably in the Middle East until 2006. David graduated from Washburn University in 2009 and started his family with this wife, Erica, becoming the proud parents of 4 wonderful children and a few animal friends too. In his free time, David is a coach with 13 years of experience in coaching youth sports and is currently coaching for the Missouri Titans baseball team. With a positive attitude and a can-do approach, David does an amazing job of keeping everything running smoothly at Kokesh Plumbing.
Mike C.
Office Receptionist
Meet Mike, a proud transplant from the desert mountain ranges of New Mexico to the lush, green city of St. Louis, Missouri. Since joining our team, Mike has (lovingly) dragged us kicking and screaming into the 21st century as our self-appointed Kokesh Tech Guru. From streamlining our forms to boosting our computer know-how, much of our digital transformation is thanks to Mike’s dedication and expertise.
When the weekend rolls around, Mike can be found exploring all that St. Louis has to offer — from its beautiful parks to live musical performances. And let’s not forget about Mike’s four-legged sidekick, Percy, who is absolutely loving the change of scenery and makes it his mission to chase every squirrel in the city. We’re lucky to have both Mike and Percy as part of the Kokesh crew!
Michelle
Office Receptionist
Michelle recently joined the Kokesh team after spending several years in Chicago, New Orleans, and Seattle. Now back in her hometown of Ballwin, she’s excited to reconnect with familiar faces—and yes, she might try to play it cool when she sees a name she recognizes from high school pop up on the caller ID!
With extensive experience in property management, Michelle is no stranger to plumbing questions and knows her way around a maintenance issue or two. She brings a calm, knowledgeable presence to the office and a true appreciation for the community she’s returned to.
As for her photo… well, she’s a little camera shy—and might just have more cats than she’ll admit to.
Rosie K.
Chief Happiness Officer
Our Chief Happiness Officer comes to us from Gateway Pet Guardians. Joe and Megan adopted Rosie in 2015 and she has been our beloved office dog ever since. Rosie loves treats, pets, being outdoors, and helping all the people that come through the Kokesh Office doors.
